Since 1995 Little Ray’s Reptile Zoo has been offering one of Canada’s most fun and interactive approaches to eco education and zoology including our famous birthday parties. With satellite locations opening across Canada, we’re now offering our at home birthday party packages throughout Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI, Quebec, and Newfoundland. For those of you who are not familiar with the zoo, the following is a list of relevant credentials:
Both the zoo itself and the outreach program are fully insured- All necessary permits and inspections from the Ministry of Natural Resources, Agriculture Canada and Health Canada have been obtained and completed
- We are the largest reptile rescue in Canada, assisting the Humane Society and SPCA in rescuing and placing unwanted pet reptiles across the country
- We are regularly vet-inspected
Birthday Packages At Home!
We can bring the zoo to you. Get up close and personal to these amazing creatures in the comfort of your home. All our “at home” packages are fun as well as educational. During our presentations, we’ll bring a map or globe and do a little world tour, bringing out the animals one at a time. We’ll explain all the neat things about each animal in a fun and relaxed manner, and of course the children will be able to touch and/or hold just about every animal we bring safely under the supervision of your presenter.
All packages are one hour in length and can be done in either English or French.
We don’t take up a lot of room, so as long as there is enough room for your guests, we can set up anywhere in your home. Presentations can be done outside May to September weather depending (must be at least 15 degrees and sunny).There are no restrictions on the number of children or adults attending your party. PLEASE NOTE - Only package 2 is available outside of the greater Ottawa area.
Package #1:
$160.00 - Contains 8-10 animals including snakes, lizards, turtles, tortoises, amphibians and bugs.
Package #2:
$195.00 - Contains similar animals as our package #1, but are much larger, and also includes a small crocodilian (alligator, crocodile or caiman) which is hands on too.
PLEASE NOTE – Only package 2 is available outside of the greater Ottawa area. A mileage fee may apply.
Package #3: The Big Bad Bug Show
$160.00 - Back by popular demand, this presentation includes 12-14 insects, arachnids and other invertebrates from around the world. Cockroaches, tarantulas, stick insects, scorpions, beetles and more. Lots of hands on. Recommended for smaller groups, approximately 15-20 or less.
Package #4: Crocodiles of the World
$195.00- Meet 4 different species of crocodilians from around the world including alligators, caimans and crocodiles, as well as a few of the other reptilian creatures they have a relationship with.
Package #5: Giant Snakes of the World
$195.00- Meet some of the largest species of snakes in the world, along with a few of the smallest. This package features boas, pythons and anacondas, along with a few of the other reptilian creatures they have a relationship with.

Birthday Packages At The Zoo!
Package #1 :
2 hours in length
Your visit will begin with 45 minutes to tour through the zoo and to enjoy your own private feeding demonstration. Following the feeding show you will have 45 minutes in your party room to do with as you please – have lunch or snacks, birthday cake, open gifts, etc. (This package does not include any food or supplies, but you are more than welcome to bring along any of your own goodies). For the last 30 minutes of your party you will have a private
hands-on presentation where your guests will be able to see and touch some of the animals.$175.00 – for the first 15 people (children or adults). Additional adults & children at $8.00 each. All birthday packages at the zoo are subject to 13% HST.

Package #2:
2 hours in length
- This package is similar in format to package #1 but is our all inclusive birthday deal with all the extras;
- Pizza (Provided by Mr. Mozzarella. One large pizza for every 4 people attending. Your choice of toppings with a maximum of two toppings per pizza.)
- Birthday Cake (Provided by Sugar & Spice Bakery – these amazing cakes are nut free and you have your choice of chocolate, vanilla, marble or chocolate chip)
- Drinks (You have your choice of pop, juice, milk or an assortment of)
- Party supplies (plates, cups, napkins, tablecloths and cutlery are all provided
- Zoo themed take-home item for all the children
- A Little Ray’s Reptile Zoo T-shirt for the birthday child
- This package is $350.00 for the first 15 people (adults or children). Additional adults and children at $10.00 each.

Package #3: (Flashlight Tour)
3 hours in length
Available Friday and Saturday evenings only 5:30-8:30pm (this occurs afterhours, so you will have the zoo to yourselves).
The first 30 minutes is spent in the zoo, with the lights on, having a look at all the animals that are actually awake during the day. Then you head over to the Rainforest party room where we provide all the fixings.
-Pizza (Provided by Mr. Mozzarella. One large pizza for every 4 people attending. Your choice of toppings with a maximum of two toppings per pizza.)
-Birthday Cake (Provided by Sugar & Spice - these amazing cakes are nut free and you have your choice of chocolate, vanilla, marble or chocolate chip)

-Jungle Safari Themed plates, cups and napkins (Tablecloths and cutlery also provided)
-Zoo themed take-home item for all the children
-A Little Ray’s Reptile Zoo T-shirt for the birthday child
Once the children are done with the cake & presents, your zookeeper will do a 45 minute to an hour long presentation, specifically on nocturnal animals, and of course everyone will get to touch and hold the critters. This presentation also includes some of our new nocturnal mammals. Then we send you back into the zoo, with all the lights out, and the children get to wander around in the dark with their flashlights, having a look at all the animals that are up and about at night. For the grand finale, we feed our large American Alligators for you.
$450.00 - Additional adults & children are $12.00 each. Children must bring their own flashlights.
