WE WONT TURN ANYONE AWAY!
It’s a part of our mission to ensure that everyone can see and learn about our animals – regardless of financial limitations or any other special circumstance.
Financial Accessibility — We are certain people appreciate the expense of caring for our animals and running our events, but we do NOT want to be cost prohibitive. If you or anyone you know would like to attend but for one reason or another this is not possible for financial reasons, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will gladly arrange entrance that works for them/you.
Special Needs — We recognize that many families, schools, and organizations have children with special needs who could benefit greatly from our zoos and presentations; however, may not be able to attend as they may not do well in crowds. Please don’t hesitate to reach out regarding financial accessibility in visiting our zoo and we’d be happy to assist.
OTTAWA BANK STREET LOCATION CLOSING FOR OUR RELOCATION!
Well, we are feeling the perfect balance excitement and nostalgia as we announce that we are officially leaving our Bank Street home of 19 years on September 16th as we prepare our new home at 2781 Colonial Road in Sarsfield. It has felt that we have long outgrown our 'digs' on Bank Street but it is the location where our little nature centre and business grew up and it will be dearly missed. Although we will miss this wonderful 7,000 sq ft home but are very excited to move to our new, 14,000 sq ft home with TONS of outdoor space for future outdoor exhibits.
All other programs including in school and daycare programs, at home birthday parties and corporate events will continue as usual. Thank you so much for everyones support over the years and we look forward to welcoming you in Sarsfield. Stay tuned for details on opening dates. Little Ray. P.s. I hope you enjoy this photo of Sheri and I from the early days of our Bank Street location. Pre kids Sheri and I were at the zoo almost every single day. As much as we worked a lot to keep things a float I do look back at these times with great joy and amazing memories with friends and families. These were very very fun times to say the least.
